Papua New Guinea: How to reach patients in a ‘land without Land Cruisers’

This article is very interesting and applies directly to what Patricia Fernandez (Supply Chain Coordinator in MSF) told as in the last class. The article explains the difficulty of transporting medicines to remote villages such as the one related in the article (Papua New Guinea).

The main problem for the organization is how to reach patients in a “land without Land Cruisers”. These vehicles are the most used by MSF in operations across the world. Then without them the challenge is to find the way to access and treat patients in the tuberculosis, ensuring they can receive the necessary treatment and follow-up care.

In conclusion, if you read the article you will know the solutions proposed by the organization.
