Amazon testing deliveries by drones

One of the most innovative technologies in logistics nowadays are drones, and the biggest companies are starting to testing it more and more.

A great example is Amazon. They are testing delivering packages using drones. Their aim is to deliver packages into customers’ hands in 30 minutes or less using the small, unmanned aircraft, through a service the company is calling Prime Air.

This video shows how the aircraft, will pick up packages in small yellow buckets at Amazon’s fulfillment centers and fly through the air to deliver items to customers after they hit the buy button online at Amazon.com.

Moreover, as the CEO of Amazon said, this service could be up and running in as few as four years but, do you think that this kind of delivery service will be normal in a nearly future?
